I was about ready to pull over and liberate it, when a wafting 18wheeler draft took care of it and blew it onto somebody else's windshield, causing a terrible accident in which 5 nuns died.

Bought my new water toy today from my boss. Perception Rambler Tandem 13.5. For $65, I wasn't about to say no. Perfect for a single person with camping gear, cooler of beer, fishing adventure, or what have you.
Bought it mainly as a loaner. Already nicknamed it the "Purple Mandingo". Anyone who wants to head down and ride the Mandingo one weekend, come on! Might wanna bring a friend.:lol:

Plywood guard dog......nice!

Everyone knows, Plywood guard dogs (PGD's) are like any other pack hunting animal, it's not the one you can see that you worry about, it's the 4-5 PGD's that you don't see that you need to worry about.
My Dad retired from Lowe’s Hardware. I remember as a kid in the early 80s being there one evening when they closed the store in Hickory. I watched them put some stacks of plywood in front of the gate with the forklift that led to the lumber yard, then releasing the Doberman’s. As a little kid, those were some scary mean dogs! Can you imagine Lowe’s or Home Depot doing that today? That would be a lawsuit.

So my neighbor came to help with the engine mounts on my Jeep. They were toast. Unfortunately I found two of the three bolts broke off in the block on the passenger side. So ghost is down for a little while. At least he brought his CJ so that was cool.

Cliff Wheeler band in downtown Sanford tonight...

Would be OK if they didn't have a deaf twelve year old running the sound board.

Always fun when a freight train runs thru a concert...

Got a twofer tonight -- 2nd freight rolled thru ten minutes later, and didn't spare the horns.
