Random pic thread.

I swear, if one more parent drags a 5 year old up to me, and introduces me as Santa, I'm gonna hit them up for fifty bucks, or I tell the kid the Truth. Another twenty bucks and I won't kill the easter bunny, either.

You know what they say,
If Santa gets pissed off and mixed up
He turns into Satan.

Don rode out to the ranch in CO to get a load of household stuff. I’m going back with him in a couple of weeks to get the JD tractor and then I guess my best bro having a ranch in CO is over. It’s under contract and pretty much a done deal. I have really enjoyed the time I’ve spent there in the Wet Mountain Valley in the shadow of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. the ranch is at 8k’ with 14k’ peaks to the west behind it. You can see Pikes Peak to the East.

We brought back a lot of household stuff last trip in the spring. This is getting close to being the last of it.

He sent me this, flying the FN on the ranch house pole.

My best bro is moving back to NC after living on a GORGEOUS ranch in Telluride for the past 13 years. He keeps inviting me out to spend some time before he moves but I can’t swing it.

Look I'll stand in as you if you want.

Ironic as much youngest daughter was just asking about regearing to step up to 35s from 33s in her tj. I just cannot justify regearing a D35 but don't want to open pandoras box stepping up to another non-bolt in axle. However, 33s, a 4.0L with a 3 speed auto and 3.07s don't make a jeep that can run 70 on the highways around the clt. It runs out of ass pretty quick.

4:10s with 33s ain’t ideal either (5spd) I bet 3:07s is 🥴

3.73 or 4.10 will be ideal for 33s and a 3 speed auto. Lack of OD will keep you happy with either ratio.

Get some TJ axles with 3.73s. Should be a D30 front and D44 rear for most of them.

It basically sucks and won't do interstate speeds. Not sure if it runs out of balls or gears. My 2.5L TJ on 35s ran out of guts not gears but it was 4.88s. I have never driven it on any highway so I'm not sure exactly what issue she is having.

The only thing I can really relate to is my 258 cj that runs out of guts. 33s and 3.31s. Itll do 65-70 in 4th but its screaming. 5th gear is only for downhill. 20 more hp and I'd be golden lol

Them ol girls was wide and low in the 90's

Driving in to work this morning I had a ~5x7' sheet of plastic blow up off the road and hitch a ride for 3 miles. Glad it wasn't my windshield. I tried more speed and less speed, to no avail. I was about ready to pull over and liberate it, when a wafting 18wheeler draft took care of it.

I had a 92 model, 4.0, with 3.54 & Factory wheels/tires. 31-32"? Automatic, & would haul butt!

You don't watch Nascar? If you tailgate, real tight, it will fall off, or get sucked off. Must be why most tailgate my dump truck? I just thought they were catching Free sand & rocks!
