Feel free to come show me how it’s done :D
You already have a dozer and a fire. All you need is a big fan or backpack blower ;)

I forgot about a leaf blower! I think there’s one around here somewhere….

I’m still willing to sit at the feet of the master and learn from a pro. Me, @willness33 and @ramjo will cheer you on the whole time.
I have a leaf blower at every bonfire just in case it starts looking a little weak.

@willness33 had a white oak that was itching to hop onto the sawmill, but probably even too heavy for Brian Shaw or Hafthor to pick up one end. Decided today was the day.

This sucker drew apart more than any log I've ever seen. Had almost a 2" gap when we got to the other end, and made a heck of a pop when the tension released!

This 5x9" chunk came home with me to eventually be turned into a mantle for my fireplace.

Anybody else need one?

I want some red oak to build a tv stand that doubles as a record holder and electronics for the stereo. Borrowing/renting that mini and trailer for a week would be cool too.....

Cut to length, knock the bark off, a little sanding, and some oil and this should turn out nice.
