That’s basically why he did it. He also has this idea of taking it down fire roads and what not. He sold his overland Tacoma to buy that van.

Probably a steal, but those cables would cost more than the machine did. Hopefully I have enough spare cable to make up some temp leads to verify the welder works before throwing too much money at it.

yep, so when the work demands I get them fresh from the box or my portable oven........Nuclear sites and the like have drums with pad locked lids. All rods marked, timed, and disposed of. No questions asked. We couldn't even get them as donations to the Community College.

EDIT: Pre heated rods do run a lot cleaner, make darn good hand warmers too. Cant say I haven't cooked some in the exhaust of my portable either.

What did you do to get that radius on the tread plate?
I smell custom round upper die on a press brake, air bending over a large gap bottom die.
