I could be mistaken, but that looks more like a DeKays Brown. They are super docile, kids pick them up all the time. Garter snake I see don't usually stick around long enough for a photo.Lil garter snake sunning on the sidewalk dgaf while held my phone close to it...View attachment 396423View attachment 396424
I have a Carolina Wren that has made a nest on our covered patio.View attachment 396447
Found this guy chillin' in the bushes outside the house...6' black snake, he was suspiciously close to a destroyed, empty bird's nest....I am sure he was just concerned!
We have a 6'er around that we've relocated a time or two (usually from the neighbor's deck) but I found a 3'er in the basement two weekends ago.View attachment 396447

So just to recap, you caught a black snake and put it in the bush so Shawn wouldnt find it.We have a 6'er around that we've relocated a time or two (usually from the neighbor's deck) but I found a 3'er in the basement two weekends ago.It was in amongst the rakes and tried to go behind the toolbox when I found it. It was either try to catch it or explain to @shawn that there was a snake in his toolbox.
It wasn't happy but not terribly unhappy with me relocating it to the bushes.
$20K back yard or a box that came from UPS.They like what they like.$20k into the backyard redo and apparently it's a pretty great dog bed.
