Random pic thread.

Brought home MY first piece of hay equipment for doing my own operation. Bought a pair of disc mowers as well to rebuild and a rake. Now on to a baler.

Best picture I could get without getting busted, but a Dana 70 will fit in a Scion XB for those who are wondering.

I'll never forget when myself and @madcowdungbeetle put a PAIR of front full width Dana 60's complete with steering and brakes in the back of his Land Rover in about 2004. Worst part was unloading them without anything except a couple dumb college guys.

Years back I had a couple of d44 axles for sale. Dude shows up to buy them in a 2 door Honda civic. I said, are you just wanting to look at them, he looked at me real funny and said I told you I wanted them. Got one of them through the trunk with the seats down and the other one partially in with the hub hanging out. Dude put a bungy strap on the trunk lid and headed out!

Did almost the same number in my civic hatch with a pair of waggy 44’s

Bought a new to me hydraulic press and it had a bent bolt on the handle. I wanted to replace the bolt with something that wouldn’t loosen and was a little bit cleaner looking. I also wanted to round off the end of the handle, but I don’t have a good way to cut a radius in my lathe. As with most things, there’s a right way, and there’s another way.

You don't own a file?

You don't own a file?
500rpm and 5000SFM go a long way to quickly removing metal. It's about a 1/2" radius. I own lots of files, but not a shred of patience.
