Random pic thread.

If it doesn't have a sticker with the belt routing take a picture of how it goes. My uncle has one that broke the belt, and we like to never figured out how to route it.

It's got one. If you need confirmation let me know.

Ok follow up! Why do these use a belt drive system instead of a gear box?
Just that design or is it a finish mower thing?
Simplicity imo. No gear oil to check, no need to set back lash, no need for seals. Just shoot some grease now and then and roll on. Belt has a tensioner, so it's good until it's not.

Finish mowers don't carry the same inertia as a bush hog and so they can be built a lot lighter and simpler.

Heading up Saturday to help and take some more supplies and fuel. Snagged me a liberal saw to try out. Its already opened a rabbit hole of other m18 tools. I stayed away as long as I could. But the dewalt line just isn’t cutting it. View attachment 425981

The factory bar is junk, but there is an Oregon that fits and runs a better chain. My experience says it'll eat, but can suck down a battery quick in the process

Stolen Malibu in Taylorsville this am

Found a friend. Kinda clingy, but still cute.

Went and helped my uncle clean out the house. He built this house quite literally with his own two hands. Took him 4 years to save and build and save and build while living in a trailer behind it. That was 30+ years ago. Looks like there’s very little to salvage. They hope they can save the house.

My cousin cut a hole in the wall to drain the water out to the next room and out the French doors.

Of course there was a LEGO on the step I had to grab a shot of.
