Doing a kitchen remodel. Found wood floors underneath linoleum and particle board. Which I told the wife they were there. She said I was right and she like what she’s seeing! Mark this day in history a man was told he was right by his wife!!

I'll never understand why people cover up hard wood. It looks in really good shape, but I'm sure there are some areas that aren't.
Me either. From what we can tell this room and the kitchen were divided by a wall. The wood under the kitchen is wider planks. I think it’s pine is something else. But this looks like oak to me.

I replaced the carpet and padding in my parents old house years ago.
The oak flooring under the olds carpet was beautiful!
The only same was heat damage at the old coal fireplace and around the walls from 100 years of freaking tack strips.
I put off laying the new carpet for a few weeks trying to get them to let me replace the damaged oak and redo the rest of it.
Then I was pissed off the whole time I put that ugly-butt carpet down!

Amazon carb sync gauges for the win. Old girl has been fighting me for a while. I think I might have it dialed in finally. Water test when I get time, but she’s purrs and revs clean on earmuffs. Couldn’t find anyone around who would touch a carbureted outboard. They all said they only worked on fuel injected motors now. Might be a business opportunity for all of the cheap people like myself who’s hanging onto their old stuff until it quits.

Maybe my son needs to expand his 4 wheeler and 3 wheeler work.
Action Marine on Pine Grove Rd in Lugoff is probably shutting its doors before too long. The owners health isn’t well. Plus he can’t keep help. He had a ton of business. Usually months out when you drop a boat or ATV off. Might be something your son should look into.
