At least there are plenty of reflectors for safety.
Lets just call it "improper" use of a tool. I like it! The, uh, "axle adapter" could probably be redesigned, but it appears to get the job done.View attachment 202300
Does this classify as misuse of a tool? It's designed for diesel engines so an 8.8 isn't overloading it.....
*can't get second pic to disappear.....ugh*
It's basically a test to see if it would work. Cradle adapters will be made with clamps for axle holding. The explorer axle is actually narrow enough to do 360 degrees.Lets just call it "improper" use of a tool. I like it! I got up about 5:30am to find my campsite a few miles up in the swamp to be flooded. I had stacked all my gear in the boat before dark and slept in a hammock like always. I ride 2 hrs back up river in the pouring rain to find the parking lot completely covered in 6"-12" of flowing water. Some spots well over that. With wet feet and a little cleverness I was able to get my boat loaded on the trailer without the Yukon getting washed away. Good times. It just sucks I couldn't cook my bacon and eggs this morning.

I'm looking forward to catfishing from this season. @XJsavageWow... never seen a two lane divided "no passing" boat ramp before.....
