That Dewalt impact is a beast. It is a little heavy though. Busted the lugs off my 2500hd no problem.

The valve spring compressor rental tool from the parts house was useless. So I took my flat pry bar and made one. Worked like a charm!

And I'd say I was overdue for some stem seals.

I helped my dad do a 318 in a 76 Dodge Ramcharger yrs ago. One of my favorite memories of me and my dad. It was unusual to see a 6 foot 230lbs fella sitting on the fender with his legs in the engine compartment. I think taking the massive steel hood off was the biggest challenge. We did the lower intake at the same time and something with the lifters. I was only about 12 or 14 as I recall. The seals were powder just like those.
