That much weight on it that high and no wiggle. It's not bolted to the floor.

This my friends is what happens when a guide pin seizes and you’re in a quality vehicle with good sound proofing and you never hear it until summer hits and you drive with the windows down. Lmao. Installing powerstop all four corners today

At least it didn't get so far that you thought abs was engaging every brake application... :) I've seen that a time or few.. "my brake pedal pulses..."

Holden beach. You need to go to beaches-n-cream right down from there. Best damn ice cream.

Will try that next time. Fantasy Isle was good enough. We were staying at Ocean Isle, and had been up in Supply. I decided to drive down to Holden "on the way back" which actually takes about 3 times as long, haha. Hadn't been there in 25 years, so thought we'd drive by, and wifey saw the ice cream place hiding in the trees, so I couldn't resist.

Came across something you don't see everyday today while weed eating a bunch of brush. Saw a snake, but couldn't figure out where the business end was in the thick brush and it didn't seem in to big of a hurry to move. So I hacked my way into where it was to figure out what was going on, and to my surprise there were two black snakes. They had gotten tangled in some mesh webbing that my neighbor uses to keep the birds from eating his blueberries off from his bushes. One was already dead but the other was still alive, so after about 30 mins with a set of wire cutters I finally got it free. In the process of getting it loose I found the skeleton of another snake that had got caught sometime ago. So all is well at this point so I go back to weed eating, and after about 10 mins I find another one in the same shape, and spend another 30 mins getting it free. Sorry for the crappy pictures, I'm not a photographer.

Had the same thing happen with some deer netting on our garden and bushes. I thought the first one was a fluke. Then I saw a turkey vulture with something across the yard, which was a 2ft by 2ft piece of netting with 2 dead black snakes in it. After that, we took it all down. :(

I've seen them come apart from using the wrong puller on them.. or using a chain wrench to hold them still to loosen the crank bolt.. not too many have I seen come undone on their own but it happens.
She was driving when it happened. Thank goodness she was only going 25 in the neighborhood. I started crawling around under the car and found the outer portion resting on a piece of plastic underneath the steering. It’s got almost 300,000 miles on it. I’m surprised everything hasn’t detonated yet.

Worlds worst powder coating job?
View attachment 269372

Aluminum hasn't been properly prepped it appears. I don't see any evidence of any kind of conversion coating process or other pre-treatment under the powdercoat; it looks like they just powdercoated over bare aluminum. There's nothing to stop the spread of corrosion under the powdercoat when the powdercoat becomes damaged. That's often fine for aftermarket wheels that live in a pampered environment, but not on a daily driver that see that many miles. Looking at the aluminum, there's some evidence of salt corrosion as well, which is probably speeding things along. Salt compounds that get under powdercoating are instant failure without pre-treatment.

I looked at their website, and their prices place them at the low end of the wheel market, so I'm not entirely surprised. You get what you pay for when wheels are that cheap, sorry to say.

looks like the tip of a spear that broke off.
That's what I thought at first but the back is too straight and smooth to be broken off another piece. And there are definitive finger hold grooves worn into it.

I was thinking an unusually sharp edged rock. But I'm not Indiana Jones either!
