That must have been a lot of drywall work.

Yeah, like a whole house remove, replace, some framing, refinish & repaint. Hard to say though if he was way too high without seeing the work and the invoices. (Me being the guy that usually gives a credible doubt to both sides on most cases, especially with no dog in the fight.)

Well.....that escalated quickly

That's Gary, he's a really great and honest guy, still doing sheetrock in his mid 70's. Steve is a local builder here in town,. You will run out of fuel chasing down your money, hence the reason I don't do work for him any more. Steve has a 4000 sq/ft house that he built 10+ years ago.

If your in this area, he now goes by Tiger Roofing and construction instead of using his name. Be mindful of this.

I've been building a small cabin with my Father-in-law for the past couple weeks. He brought out his grandpa's old saw to finish cutting the notches in our floor joist. He also told me he remembered his grandpa ripping 2x4 lengthways with it when he built houses.....I stopped whining about using a generator to run my skill saw....

I have that Identical handle....and when it was used like described I bet that blade was as smooth as a babies but if not waxed, polished or both. At the least a light oil finish, greatly reduces drag in the joint.

Not "killer weldz" but not "killer welds"

Overheated on me in the second pic where it's not finished out. 3 passes. Prior to my weld test in the teach me how to weld thread, I might have let it roll with one pass. I'm confident it's almost as good as a stick weld on the same application. (1/4" wall tube to a d35 housing). It can't be worse than the bent perches I took off. Keep in mind it's a horror fright 110v 90a AC FCAW unit. Yes it's AC output. No rectifier.

This all happened yesterday afternoon at the house. BJC and Oliver were deer spotting in the backyard. BJC then decided to send it on the treadmill and finally I found a giant puffball mushroom which I cooked and ate. And before you ask it was absolutely delicious #imnotahippylikejody

I found an identical one in my front ditch yesterday, it was huge. It wasn't there a few days ago, they grow really fast.

But... you can actually eat those? I threw it in the yard waste bin, dang it.
Yes you can! I thought I remembered that you could so I looked it up. There's a good YouTube video I posted on my Facebook. Basically, slice it fat, 1/2 stick of butter, sliced onions, S&P.

Self made enclosed trailer? Had to follow this Wrangler & trailer out past the Freightliner plant Thursday. I'm guessing a 5'x6' utility trailer, to which had some wooden sides & a compact truck cap, added. It was also "Squirrely"! No lights & No, I can't see the Jeep's lights, with the additions made to the trailer!
