He just wanted to help you. I remember one time (think it was 2012) we were staying at Barkwells in Mills River. My lab/chow mix Curtis (rest his soul) jumped in their pond in late October. He got stuck in the mud on one side near the bank. I waded in & had to dig his legs out of the mud then lifted his 75 pound body out. He was shaking & the water was pretty damn cold. I went to turn and realized I was now stuck in the mud. I laid back in the water and my boy used me like a bridge. He walked over my chest and face to the bank into the loving arms of my wife. Took me another 10 minutes to free myself. The wife hosed us down in cold water before we could go inside the cabin. He and I slept in front of the fire that night in the cabin. It’s been 4 1/2 years since he passed and I’d do it again it a heartbeat if I could have him back.
 
Had to do balljoints in my brothers jeep zj today and right as I get a torch out it started to rain pretty hard. So I look at the wj in the middle of a motor swap, see it’s hood is off sitting next to it in the garage, grabbed it and some cardboard and made a tent out of the hoods. Just happened there’s a cj5 next to it to use as the other support. Add a tarp to cover the sides and I can beat hot ball joints out as long as it’s not super windy.
