Random pic thread.

@CasterTroy posted a picture of him driving through there with no body damage. Maybe he just has mad skillz yo!

2 things I don't have:

Patience for stupid people
Mad Skillz yo!

One of the MANY things I DO have is photochop, and 5 minutes of time to use sarcasm as humor in order to upset the egos of NC4x4 members

A better option. The 1921 self propelled cellar nozzle. A fun training toy for the unsuspecting probes.

Back washes as you feed/pull it? I'm assuming the loop is for a rope to pull through.
Inside the nozzle has a turbine that causes the head to spin. The loop is a cutter, the small hole at the tip pierces and the large holes in the back side propel and spray water violently. On the end of a 2 ½" line at about 60psi you can't hold on to it and it will drench you as it leaves your hands. It works great for opening culverts because it cuts and backwashes as it pushes itself deeper into the clog. The intended purpose is to punch a hole in the floor with an axe, insert the nozzle then charge the line. It will take off like the Tazmanian Devil and put the fire out, hence the name "cellar nozzle".

This particular nozzle is in my collection and is stamped FDNY 1921.

pray that is a small return...one of several.

Kelly, your ditch pictures look like the 1 behind my house! Was in flood stage from when I first got up today, til about 3:30. At 3ish, the Sun was back out! Took my walk around town at 5, & it was getting hot. My yard, & all I saw, was a couple Large limbs down, & all the trees had Many leaves & twigs, stripped away! If I hadn't known about Florence, I would have thought it was just breezy & rainy for 3-4 days. Four days total rain = 5". Yesterday, I had 1" of rain, & today, 3" more. Winds were Terrific today! Crazy difference!

It eventually crossed the road. This is 109 at legacy

Normally a 2ft deep 4ft wide creek in a 12ft wide by 8ft deep trench. Once it created the road it was 16ft higher than normal
