The axle will sit until I have everything to swap it in. Shooting for this time next year but we shall see, still have a long ass list of parts to buy.

I was out there about 4 weeks ago. I try to schedule my business trips over a weekend so I can enjoy the area. You know it’s only a 7 hour (or so) drive to Moab from there.

I wanted something more fuel efficient to drive to work, so i drove down to Georgia and bought a 2014 VW Passat TDI today.
Reset everything when i left the dealer, and was more than pleased with the average MPG after the 230 mile trip home...
Even if it's off by 10%, thats basically 50mpg running 75-85mph!

Yep. The 335d was fun, but of all the vehicles ive owned, i kept the old TDI Passat the longest. Maybe this one will stick around for a while too, but i dont have a good track record...

We've been trying to get some ideals on wheel choices for jake's caddi.Found these and really liked em.Custom made from a solid block of alum but at $1400 per wheel were gonna have to pass.I guess the 16 hours of mill time per wheel center inflates the price.
