Random pic thread.

Sadly, I bet the chicks will hatch and be gone before I finish this damn brake swap

It was less than 3 weeks from eggs laid, to chicks leaving this nest. Lot's of drama/calling as they fly and scatter while the parents try to corral and feed them all until they can fly well.
They may repeat this 3 or 4 times in a season.

This one shows the entire scene as far as the carnage goes.
but it doesn't show the responding officer with the completely befuddled look on his face...
"now what the hell am I supposed to put in this report?"

Showing my boy what's up

I don’t frequent McDonald’s much, and I’d seen pics on FB before but now I’ve seen it and used it myself.

I present to you the $15/hr McDonald’s employee. Never comes in late, never calls in sick, never takes vacation and never comes to work messed up or hungover. They have 4 of these touch screen deals.

Except they are covered in fecal matter.

Nice! Did y'all fab in-house? What's the crane rating when completed?

It's keeping the vermin outta your pumphouse :smokin:
I told the wife that we've never seen any snakes in there because they are scared of the 3" wolf spider. She didn't believe me, so I showed it to here.

An A for creativity!

I can't count the number of times I have take a 10' board or pipe or conduit or whatever home in my little Mazda, by running it from the back, to out the front passenger window so it's joisting style.
In fact, that's what dude shoulda done here.

Yes we fabbed it in our shop in Colfax.

Capacity will be 104 ton. Has (2) 52 ton main hooks with a spreader beam that will go between them.

So 300 tons of steel to pick up 100 tons? Sounds about right. What's the safety factor on something like that?

Today starts the big crane install in VA. Got 4 of these monster girders to set over the next 2 weeks.

3' wide x 9.5' tall x 160' long.

2 girders weigh 157,000lbs each & the other 2 weigh 136,000lbs each.
