is that a Hickory jack stand?
Popular. The hickory was 6 x 8 x 24 blocks I had sawn a few years ago. They where under the edge. Tree was safety backup for the bowl.

Took a very large track loader and excavator to reposition all of it.

Saw this today.[emoji849]

Pool up - check

Water supply training/public service - check

Now who wants to come clean this thing?

How did you coax the FD into filling it up for you? Either way, that's how you get stuff done!

Took a (new hire) sandblaster on a camping trip this weekend. He's been asking to go for weeks now. Definitely a comic relief. For someone from Asheville accustomed to camping with bears, he wouldn't have felt at home if I told him there was none. This was the first time I ever saw someone drunk on Naturdays and White clam.
Stuyck strong! This cat is cool in my book.

I went and got the truck. [emoji602] That was at a business at the edge of our district while filling. But we still fill pools for the community.

Almost a year to date this pine got hit by lightning. My neighbor came over to help drop it. It was 60’ to the first branch, right at 100’ tall exactly, and the rings said it was around 100 years old. Around the 50 year mark the rings got so tight you could barely count them. Surprisingly it wasn’t rotten. I’ve got work to do this week clearing it all up. Pics don’t do it justice. It was a tall, skinny sob.

We used to do that, for a Donation $ If anyone asked about us using City water, we told them we were Training! In a way, we Were!
We are a pretty tight community, so we just use it for training. We dont have any hydrants in our district, that one is about 1000 yards into our neighbors, but they let us use it. Seeing as how it's the same county it's not a problem though. 4 hours of water supply, pump ops, and driver training is never a bad thing.

A couple wrench flats and polish em up and they can go bling their life away.

I'm not sure what this is, but I'm contemplating burning the house down just in case.

Needed some peg board to hang some tools and free up some tool box space. My biggest pet peeve is having unusable holes. Cut 3/8" x 1/2" strips and installed between holes. 4'x8' sheet with EVERY hole usable!

Total project price $350!
