Who is this, [or what is this] I got in a long line of I-85 traffic, behind. Scurrying along at 45 mph! Maybe he was stuck in 2nd. gear! A brownish Wrangler, looking somewhat chopped up, & running 1 tons, with something like 40" rubber. I think it was Monday, N. bound 85 at Graham street; 2:30 pm. Sorry I couldn't get closer, I had to exit.

Only had 1 chance at a pic today, of this. Beautiful 1965 F-100, Custom Cab [all chrome package], Twin I-Beam, Camping mirrors. Camper Special edition, best I could tell. Long bed & looked like the rear axle, was more to the rear, plus the compartment door under the front of the bed. And the camping mirrors. Ford had that Camping Special, for a few years. Check out the sexy Ford Baby Moon hub caps! Automatic, as Granddad's hands, never left the steering wheel. Not a resto, & just felt like the Mature gentleman, driving it Carefully, Probably bought it New!

I knew him since I was 8. Attended many an event a heard him speak and even had Independence Day lunch at his house several times. He lived within walking distance of where I grew up. Truly an American hero.
