Random Thoughts.....

Most of my best work was done in the days before good cell phone cameras and cloud storage.
yup, I'm quite content with the fact that the digital everything age came about after I got out of college. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have made it in.

Somehow I’ve set my pond, yard and myself on fire one night and no one had a video of it. I had a few beers before I tried to get the fire going again

How does the flashlight on my phone randomly get turned on while my phone is in my pocket?

NSA needs better view of the contents of your pocket.

same reason mine ends up on do not disturb.. you can access those features without unlocking it...
Yep. Amazing how many things I can customize, but I can't disable that?

I've found turning my phone so the screen faces out in my pocket eliminates that issue.

I've tried that. It helps but still happens.. I think getting rid of the phone is the most logical option. Heck, I even had this issue with flip phones! Next most logical option is to air condition the shop!

Personal epiphany: NC4X4= all the conversations....good, bad, sarcastic, and serious I want to have with my wife that she just doesn't get.
A few women in here are the golden exception. for them.

Has the term 'swamp ass' been diluted over recent years??? I see to remember legit swamp ass yielded a swampy smell usually resulting from someone not knowing how to wipe well enough (or sharting and forgetting)...and it also had a bit of a gooey swampy feel between the ass cheeks. But the last few years, as it warms up, folks seem to think 'ass sweat' is also included in the 'swamp ass' category. To me, those are two totally different afflictions, one is a hygiene problem, the other is glandular problem.

This thread may help you

It's been my experience; the only thing separating Monkey Butt from Swamp Ass is one wet fart

School is out for summer, and I keep seeing driver's ed cars that are a Prius with 3 people inside. No wonder kids don't care about driving, if you're learning to drive in one of the most soul-killing cars ever made...
For a little over a year in 1989, my HS had 2 drivers-ed cars. One was a Taurus, the other was a blue and silver Pontiac Trans-Am

I was quite disappointed that I was already licensed when that TA came along. I think there's a picture of it in my yearbook

I wouldn't say soul killing, man card revoking yes. "PWR" Mode is not terrible, no worse than a late 90's Honda. Steering and handling really is decent too.

1) My first class another classmate was meeting for private lessons with a driving school at the same meeting point. Was a brand new WS6, I got excited, not realizing she had private lessons.
2) My drivers ed car eventually pulled in and my lessons were in a Chevy Cavalier older than I was
3) I'd argue kids that are worried about driving a Prius are spoiled little shits. Driving is a privilege, it wasn't that long ago kids were grateful for whatever shitbox they could get their hands on so they wouldn't have to walk or ride with someone else.

My Dad had one too [emoji849]
Like I said fun to drive until someone sees you in it.

So Tom, you must have scheduled the Tellico run back in 2000!? I remember at least 20 Fieros at the hotel. You were secretly hanging with them weren't you!

Hey I'm not talking them up I'm just saying unless you've driven one they aren't as bad as they would seem.

I disagree. I had a long commute during a spell of really high gas prices so bought one. I lasted a month. It was the most numb driving vehicle I’d ever had. If one doesn’t enjoy driving it’s a great car.

If I didn't have a company truck and had a long commute I would consider a Jetta tdi. If any car was fun to drive I may not have my license. Hell the money you save by keeping the vehicle you have and driving it opposed to buying a new hybrid electric what have you. Would take more than 5 years to break even I'd bet. And now your "carbon" footprint is larger cause you contributed to manufacturing another vehicle.
