My whole childhood my mom would look at me and say, "Just wait. You deserve everything you're gonna get from your kids."

She was absolutely right.

Yeah, the frustrating part is also getting what your wife deserved from your kids.

Technically since taste buds are just specialized epitheial cells connected to nerves detecting specific chemicals... they both have taste buds, and you stated the evidence :D

No matter when or where, if a dove flys over me, I have an irresistible urge, which I always act upon, to throw up my imaginary shotgun and shoot it while making a slight boom sound. My wife doesn't appreciate it, especially in public. Same goes for ducks and geese.

And that’s why in my heart of hearts, I still feel it was staged to some extent. Me, a guy who has never watched an Oscar ceremony, couldn’t tell you what you get one for, and could probably name less than 10 people in Hollywood today…was googling the hell out of what happened. And in that, I found that viewership was like 58% lower last year, than the previous low. Now, unless they introduce a celebrity death match every year, I’ll still never watch it, but it did make the Oscar’s somewhat relevant and ‘trend’ today.
