Random Thoughts.....

1-2 people who are making it hard for her and I just don't want her to leave because of them, when it might be easily fixed.
You don't know much about people, do you.
They can't easily be fixed.

Man, I agree. When I was a kid, all I wanted was an "Up and Down" house. Now that I have one, I envy those who only have one floor to deal with.

When we first bought this house we needed to convert a downstairs area to a master BR to have enough room.
Us, my Mom and 2 kids.
Empty nest and Mom passed several years ago ..... with my post covid issues we just last we converted back to one floor.
NICE!

Based on the smells when I get on the train (whether morning or evening) the weed business has not been hurt by the economic downturn.

How do normal people store & organize their food containers? We can't be the only ones that have the cupboard of chaos with everything thrown in all willy nilly.
There's a shelf or two of chaos (read: kids' snacks) but the rest is not bad. I use drawers for a lot of it.

Nope. Pure chaos. No rhyme or reason to anything in my pantry. That’s how I end up with 3 of the same item. Can’t find it, buy another, find the first, repeat. No fault of mine. I’m a neat freak among dirty birds. I’m outnumbered 3 to 1. It’s a losing battle.

I lasted 10 years. Call it burn out, mid life crisis....whatever. 2 people I couldn't stand made it impossible for me to continue.

I left the job I started right after college, worked elsewhere for 2 years. Left there, worked at another firm for a year, then ended up going back to my first employer. Same 2 folks I couldn't stand were still there but somehow now I didn't pay them any mind. Been back for 13 years now. Sometimes you just have to GTFO for a while to appreciate what you had

i know your coworkers. How is it only two?

only psychos dont have that.

Uh. We are guilty of the extreme opposite.
I mean who keeps fancy plastic containers this organized.
IMG_20220406_083412087.jpg The food stuff is just as bad.
This is just one of the pantries. We have multiple storage areas.

Gotta admit I like the can racks.
Do they pull out to get whats behind them?
Not these. The next ones will. My wife's classroom is worse. It's like a walk in clinic of obsessed organization......y'all ever heard the story of a carburetor that went missing because it wasn't in its place...lol!

Since we're on the topic...we switched to Glasslock containers a few years ago and never looked back. Watertight and positively latched so nothing spills even when sideways or upside down, no worries about microwaving plastic, no issue with tomato sauce staining like every plastic container ive ever owned, and they just have a satisfying click when you latch them.

Same.

I've broken 4 #becausetard but overall very sturdy

That was the plan until I remembered how much I eat. My lunchbox would weigh 100lbs 🤣

I definitely noticed an increase in lunchbox heft 👍

Never broken one, but I've worn out quite a few lids. Replacements are "free" but you have to pay like $10 shipping. We usually replace in batches of 4 or 5, so not a big deal.

Why don;t the make the storage containers all the same diameter and just adjust the depth for the size?
One size lid fits all.
I seem to remember at one time we had a set like that but it was cheap "as seen on TV" junk that didn't last.
But I've never seen any like that since. ( again, I could be wrong- not been in Wally World in 6 months)
( here again ... I only want 15%)

What makes some people decide that the thing they want to do RIGHT NOW is to go on a random internet forum and create and account and defend a topic from 14 years earlier that no one cared about then, and no one cares about now?
