No they don't, they write big freaking tickets and park the rigs if they want toI don’t think the Motor Carrier Enforcement Tahoes are arresting too many people, and if they do, I’m sure they have plenty of buddies who can be there on short notice.
Easy to make money when you do it all illegally. All flying under the radar@ghost id recommend exiting the logistics industry while you still can. I’ve heard you talk, and you don’t sound anything like the dozens of foreigners I’ve talked to in the past few days dealing with brokers and carriers and drivers and customer service. I guarantee they are working for dirt cheap too, judging by the level of service received.
Yep. Been like this for a wile now.@ghost id recommend exiting the logistics industry while you still can. Actually I'd say most are legal in the sense they have the proper FID and DOT certifications. They have to have that. Where they differentiate is they run for a lot less then I can. We pay our driver .60/mile. The big difference is they put guys in their trucks and run them. Two of those guys in a truck might make .60/mile but they have two drivers and cover a lot more than my one guy can. IF it's a single driver I'd be surprised if he made .30/mile. Those guys don't want or need lie we do. Look at how many of them live in a single house. Not sure if I'm articulating what I'm trying to though.Easy to make money when you do it all illegally. Exactly. they live in shacks where they come from and living in the truck with a co worker is nothing new. I have a couple campfire tales on this subject."Their drivers have a lower standard of living than ours do."
This unfortunately puts you at a competitive disadvantage due to making a respectable decision.
Do your stories include any about them drilling a hole in the sleeper and using it as a mobile porta jon? My grandpa was in the heavy wrecker industry and before he passed, came across a few trucks that he refused to touch and left on the road because of that very reason.Exactly. they live in shacks where they come from and living in the truck with a co worker is nothing new. That makes make Facebook message to you yesterday even more ironic. I hope it was inspiring. No matter who wins today. Winners are still going to win, and losers are still going to lose. No matter who's in charge there's plenty you can do for yourself.

I have a nephew that is a mechanic for an OTA agency. Said he's seen this multiple times now. And where does all that shit go? All over the underside.Do your stories include any about them drilling a hole in the sleeper and using it as a mobile porta jon?
