***RELEASE THE KRAKEN***

great looking rig just one question why didnt you save some time and money and just do a pinion brake.

For one thing, he isn't locked yet, so only one wheel would stop. Also, he is apparently building the thing to be an all purpose cruiser. This includes driving at speeds on road that would put a quick end to pinion brakes spinning over 6x the speed of wheel brakes.

Wheel brakes are better in every way except for cost, and loss of extra braking power through gearing(which shouldn't matter with those monster brakes he has).

Basically exactly what he said (except for "all purpose cruiser" part). Oh yeah, it stops better than any thing I've ever driven.

Question. Pics posted on 12/11 taken at Williams in Trinity?
Nah, close though. More towards Holly Ridge golf course.

That's my plan. May bring a couple friends also.

Yes sir. Intend on upgrading ECM & IDM to accommodate better tunes. Was gonna enter your TK series, but funds are low & I gotta get front drive shaft, lockers, ouverson hubs & other shit. So maybe later in year I can do some thing.

you familiar with Top Truck Challenge (TTC) in Four Wheeler magazine? is so i was wondering if you ever considered entering this thing. it def seems like it would hold up.

Man !!! That thing looks great !!!! I remember when you came to get the sheet metal I was thinking how cool a 4 door would be !!! Looks great..

Oh yeah I'm familar with TTC. Gotta get it complete first & log some hours in it on trails, mud, etc. to see how it handles & if it needs any more mods. I think Ricky's Throttle King series would be a good challenge for it also.

I'm curious how you get in?

Rite now. Step on DS rear bottom link, step up on tire, then walk down step/slider. Got set up figured out just don't have time to fab it up yet.

I bet hes getting tired of being asked LOL, he said he plans to come. I was going to say he can run over a izuzu trooper (dead shop clunker) if he wanted, but I recall him saying he had no front DS.
