I was wanting to start a build so I bought a Juggy off the site here to get a jump start. Already had 4 link in the rear. Bought a set of 1 tons out of '88 Dodge W300 (Dana 60 front & Dana 70 1SU rear).
Then my buddy wrecked his Super Duty & I got it at great deal. So I'm putting Juggy project on hiatus for now.
Here's what I plan:
Power plant: 7.3L Powerstroke V8
Drivetrain: Jasper automatic & 273 xfer case (change to manual later)
Axles: 2.5 ton Rocks (Bottomland 4x4, Eric)
Suspension: Triangulated 4 link rear & Parallel 4 link front with panhard (Marsfab, Chris) & FOA piggy back coilovers (length unknown now)
Body: 4 door YJ (I'm pieceing it together now)
Wheels: LWR 20"x11" with custom centers
Braking: Disc's at all four corners
Tires: 52" Michelin XZL's (52's, Justin)

holy crap.. what is the wheelbase gonna be?

Around 167"-170". Prob cut about 1'-2' off Superduty frame. Cutting crew cab off & leaving floor board & fire wall of truck. Then cutting floor board & firewall out of Jeep. That way I can just set body on frame without rewiring alot. Kinda like we build buses at Thomas Bus.

Appreciate all the encouragement. It is gonna be pretty BIG. I'm working on it just about every night. Still working on B pillars now. Making sure there good & stout, plus look as factory as I can possibly make them. Again thanks every body. I'll post some more pics soon.
Question for any body. How much do the following parts weigh.
1. Crew cab
2. Bed
3. Front clip
4. Frame
of a 1999 F250 7.3L
& a YJ tub roughly?

All I can say is forget everything else, if its gonna have a diesel in it, it better freakin roll coal like a train on steroids chuggin a full load up the rockies

Thanks Lee. Yes, he's (Colossals Diesel Naberious) a Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff). His sire is 'Sleeping Giants Errol' & dame is 'Colossal's A of D Star'. He has 14 champions & 5 grand champions in his bloodline. He's one of the main reasons I'm building a four door (now I gotta just figure how to get him in there @ 140lbs).
