Appreciate all the encouragement everybody, helps keep me goin (plus firing up the ole 7.3 every night before I leave). I've decided on Mil spec Black, just like my daily driver.

I'll be honest. I didn't think much of this build until page 2. Now, I'll be sure to tune in. That is going to be a huge and loud beast :huggy:
Out of curiosity, what on page 2 sealed the deal for ya? Thanks for tuning in by the way.

it looked like a decent start with a good plan but the path to hell is paved with good intentions. point is, i've seen some good build ideas turn out bad.

I guess what got me tuned in was you decided to use the beefier Super Duty frame and the attention to detail. You could have thrown the tub on there and let it ride but you made patch panels and sealed them (rarely done) or you could have just thrown the engine in there and been done.

It sounds ridiculous but even though we all beat our junk up, I like to see good body work done. At least let it be straight before you roll it out and smash it into something. details my man, details.

You should probably consider putting a little more thought into those frame mounts, especially if this thing is going to get wheeled.

One bolt per attachment looks pretty sketchy, especially on a rig this heavy. I would at least consider welding the plates to the frame, if nothing else....

I'm attaching a piece of 3/8" or 1/4" plate steel to it later & tieing it in to slider & frame. To "boatside" it (I got some more things to do to it, right now just getn the basics knocked out). Thanks for input thou.
