***RELEASE THE KRAKEN***

Finally got a little work done today. Got the two cradle sides made for the links. I cut the plates out for them last week and Paul sent them to Mudpro to have his logo cut out. They turned out great mud does nice work.

Just for curiosity's sake, why did you wait for Ballistic when you could have ordered Fox's and had them in half the time for much cheaper? The guys at Ballistic are my boys but I would never order shocks from them.
Well I was unaware at the time that it would take forever & a day to get them. When I put the order in I was told they would ship out in three weeks (not two months later). I was unaware FOX made nitrogen/coilover??? Never seen them. Reason I went hybrid route is due to ease of adjustability & weight factors. In the beginning I did price the 16" FOX piggyback coilover, FOA's & BIGSHOCKS & the Bfabs were still cheaper (except for BIGS, just not sure of their track record yet).

Thanks man. This thing will be pretty neat when it's done.
Hell yeah, excellent work Chris. PSC Hydro assist should be here Saturday, so hopefully I can get that outta the way. 5" vertical Hi steer arm from Steve Gerstner should be in next week some time then the steering should be all ready. Gotta start working on the disc brake set up now. Then not long down the road it'll be time to "release the Kraken".

Yea that little roll around stool in the background is just the right height for me to sit on and roll around underneath it. Pictures just don't do it justice.

Ah, my vision is coming to fruition. Chris does badass work. Got the PSC hydro assist yesterday & hi steer arm from Steve should be here by Friday. Then the front links can go in. Too bad rig can't make it to City Limit Saloon but I'll be there.

that's what she said...
LOL. Good one. That's basically ride height. Still trying to figure out best way to get in it without having any thing hanging off to hit obstacles:confused:.

I actually have considered a rope ladder.

Probably around 2 months. Still gotta do disc brakes, body work, engine work, roll cage, etc....

gotta friend that's still buildin his with 48's and he took off the part you put your foot in a saddle and tied it to a rope. It works really well. Or you can climb up the tread

Front links are in and the steering is almost done. We got the steering box back from PSC this weekend along with the histeer arm. I ended up having to fab up a new tranny crossmember due to driveshaft and upper link clearance. Ill try to get pics of the steering and panhard tomorrow if I get them finished.
