Riding across the country on a GS500F

im in nashville now, i rode 600 miles from kansas city yesterday, it was like 11 hours on the road because of all the construction. ill be leaving for boone tomorrow, then ashville, then wilmington, then back to raleigh to find a job.

Dude, can you still feel your cheeks?
I rode from Albaquacky to Boston in 4.5 days back in 1983 on a Kawasaki 440ltd. Took three weeks to get the feeling back in my right cheek.
Have a safe trip. Cross country trips are boring in a car. Motorcycle is the only way to do it.

yea the butt sore-ness is not nearly as bad as my shoulders. next summer when we ride to CA i am definitely getting a throttle lock

Well you just reconfirmed my desire to get a bike! I have been wanting a Dual Sport (Street legal dirt bike) for so long now so that way when I do take a trip I can take my own road. Just need to save up the cash but its not looking likely with this economy! Thanks for living my dream! ha ha - great trip though, I do logistics for Seattle and Portland and I have been wanting to go out there forever, looks so beautiful!

Fun trip it sounds like, but I would be really sore, I couldn't ride either of my bikes for more than an hour (at most). If I was by myself it might not have been too bad though.
