2 have finished already???

Tracker doesn't show Jay as retired, but he's not moving .
 
Now I'm confused. It says 4448 and 76 are on lap 3 of 2.

And 21 is finished.

Ok, the tracker is messed up. It has the race as 2 laps. Apparently as they finish the 2nd it shows finished until they're updated to 3 of 2.
 
Yeah nobody is finished yet.

The coverage and views with the helicopter/drones etc has been really nice this year.
However - it kinda sucks they removed he dedicated feeds at the main obstacles, and are mostly only focusing all of the footage on the leaders, so we never see or hear anything of the other 100 cars.
You'd think this was a race only involving about 10 vehicles.

When he was getting out, they had a mic there and it seemed like it was idling. But it could have been a different car. There wasn't any smoke or anything. They went away from the shot, right after they got out so you couldn't see what they had to work on.

I think they need a producer watching the feeds that knows when to switch cameras. Multiple times I saw someone in a pinch getting ready to drive over another car and they switched to another shot of something boring in the distance, usually just a bunch of dust. Then back to back door after the two cars passed each other And we missed the good part.
 
Damnit @BRUISER @livetorun @REDLYNER and @trailtoy83 hate the turn of events during the races, but it was a absolute blast being glued to my tv,phone, iPad pulling for y'all from Va past few days! Hope y'all had fun either way!! Appreciate the show!

The update from his crew and wife was the car ran hot, they stopped to let it cool, and it wouldn't restart.

Thanks Chris. We tested and tuned for 3 days with no issues only to have the radiator let go 2 miles into the race.
 
I had a blast racing against Chris (trail toy). He had some shock issues early on and we got a clean pass in the desert, then I had some motor issues and he caught back up right before Resolution and Back Door. We both left Main Pit right beside each other... literally! I nearly bumped him in the side entering the course.

We decided to just race along with him for the next 35 miles of desert and rocks. Between all of the micro issues we were both fighting through, our pace was essentially the same. It was a ton of fun watching how he would take a line and I would see it a different way. He’s incredibly fast, and definitely talented.

And yes, electrical took us out. We were on Wrecking Ball when the alternator quit, then ran on the battery through Jack North until it died completely.

We ended up there for 9 hours just spotting and winching guys up that spot. Loooong day.

That sucks man it seems the small stuff or shit ya don't thinks gonna fail gets a lot of rigs at koh, was cool watching y'all better luck next year!!!
