My daughter graduated from HIgh School last night. Heading to UNC Chapel Hill in August. Her brother is a sophomore at Duke. Both were valedictorians of their class back to back in 2020 and 2021. I’m about as proud of a parent as can be.

Man…that’s beyond impressive. As a parent of very young/small children…I see stuff like this and hope I/my kids can aspire to achieve results like that.

I bet March is gonna be fun in your home

Hitting the race track at DW. My boy first claimed he's going to hit everyone on the track  Then he hit the track, forgot his plan, and found himself a girlfriend.

Super proud Dad tonight! My youngest son received his Arrow of Light tonight and crossed over to Troop 101. He was received by his older brother and his Papa.

Mason just pitched a 36 pitch six innings/18 outs with 31 being strikes. That's two pitches per out. That's unheard of. The umpire said in all his years that's the lowest pitch count he's ever seen for a full game.😁😁
He doesn't have the high velocity some may think but this kid can put the ball anywhere in the zone he wants depending on how he reads the batter and the hit is either a pop up or a dinker ground ball. His movement on his breaking ball sure helps too. Lol
He knows without a doubt it couldn't happen without a stellar defense.
He is a humble young man and I couldn't be anymore proud.

Encourage them to read. I am a firm believer that reading young really helps to develop their brain.

Daughter was really upset because her "favorite water bottle" got warped in the dishwasher and wouldn't sit level anymore.

I suggested, we'll why don't you make a new bottom for it?
Low and behold she used calipers, CADed a tight fitting coozy-style base for it, and 3d Printed it in TPU.

Perfect fit. Problem solved.

Literally only thing I did was change the filament and hit print.

Decided since my daughter just turned 5 in April, that this 4th of July she'd learn what it was like to be an American.

That's right, I ordered 30,000 BB's, and another 2,000 pellets that haven't arrived yet. :flipoff2: Running out of ammunition is a sin that we don't allow in this household.

Before anyone says anything, yes I know she's not wearing her pink safety glasses and that she's short stocking that Crosman like she's practicing CQB.

So, how'd it go?

Well, she loves it.

Scope didn't work to well since she has to short stock the rifle, I took it off and we went with the factory iron sights while the reflex sight is on order. (That's right, I'm putting a reflex dot sight on a Crosman air rifle.)

Whats LoP on that thing? That stock seems to have some distance to it. I have a youth marlin 22 and a cricket with a LoP of 12” (30” oal). They’re a smidge long for my 4.5yo, but decided next summer would the year she joins daddy at the range…and that size should fit her pretty well then.

I'll get a measurement on that, but it will be a few days. My daughter is in Boone staying with her grandparents til Friday and she insisted that her rifle went with her so she could practice.

She really doesn't have a problem short stocking it and rotating the gun slightly to line up the sights, and it weighs next to nothing so she can hold it up, but I plan on building a rifle bench for her in the backyard so she doesn't end up with Pop Eye arms.

Like father like son. He's such a bookworm.

13 3/8"

Sorry for the TEN DAY delay. I suck. But, being curious, I took a few quick measurements:

The Savage Rascal in .22 I bought for her to have when she's a bit older, only has something like a 11 1/2" LOP. That's a big difference.

And what's really crazy, is that my FAL is 14 1/4"...

So a Crosman 760 has almost the same Length of Pull as a .308 Battle Rifle instead of a .22" single shot starter rifle. Apparently it's supposed to go to older kids/adults more than children.

(There is, however, a SLIGHT weight difference between the two though...)

I have a daisy 74 that munchkin is getting familiar with. Though it's old and having some issues

My younging made another big step. Well not being so young....landed a "first job" related to his studies.
He held a near full-time job all through several layers of community college. Landed a few two year degrees and several certs or diplomas.

He has started at a place making synthetic non woven material called Avgol. He has been hired straight on as a Maintenance Tech.

Real proud of you @Blake_JK !

Y'all pray with me He stays safe and learns a lot!
