The Yellowtail Build

So, found the source of the exhaust leak tonight. Gonna see if I can get it welded tomorrow (2 years old, and not cheap) since I wanted a quote for the rest of the exhaust anyways. For the meantime, Yellowtail remains torn apart at the shop, while @Blaze has been a very sympathetic boss and allowed me to borrow the shop truck to get home.

On the bright side, the manifolds are fine and we got the motor mounts in with only minor hassle. They look nice if nothing else.

The downpipe did get welded at Henry's at no cost. Got the exhaust built that Friday and it came out nice. Didn't add as many hangars as I wanted and no joints, but honestly I believe I forgot to mention joints, and I can get it added later.

Which brings us to today. Just as the exhaust got fixed, the throwout bearing made itself heard. After debating whether to replace just the bearing or the <50k Luk clutch kit as well, I ended up ordering the whole lot, including the flywheel, since I know it wasn't in the best shape. Paid double for a Mopar TO, which hurt, but I'm hoping it'll last far longer than the Luk. Had to have it all here before Saturday as I'm heading to Ocean Isle. Need to pick up some T6 and change the oil as well.
