Uwharrie 4x4cross (post-meeting) - May 9-11

...so that crap is now cut off
According to eyewitnesses, that particular 3/4-elliptical was said to be one of the most well-executed pieces of Backyard Hillbilly Engineering ever devised -- and I never even got a chance to see it…… Oh well

See you guys in May! :driver:

Cheers!

A 1.6L tracker engine that was NEVER offered in a samurai, is almost a 50% increase in HP vs stock. Not to dissagree with your logic, as it is a common swap and needed in most zukes...

But that leads me to my setup... The only thing keeping me out of the B class is my motor swap, I'd argue that my 150hp 307 is actually less HP than what was available 4.0L 6 cyl engines commonly used.

So who do I need to speak to for sign off on this ?

Yeah, but it SOUNDS so much badder than any 4.0 I've heard it'll never fly :)

regarding the taxes
Maybe its a paypal thing..I dont know for sure, I didnt even think about it.Thats on the Main men in charge, not us, so I have no real clue.

Well it's official I"M IN!

Yeah, I was wondeirng this as well. Didn't notice the tax unti lafter I'd paid, then was like WTF!

On a different note, when I signed up, it didn't ask me for my rigs name, picture, all that Bling Bling crap.
Which is fine b/c all my pics are lame and so is it's name.
How did you guys get that stuff in there?

If your in a lower class rig and want to sign up to race in a higher class go for it you just cant go the other way around.
Not sure if its set 40 rigs in each class I think its just more of getting the 160 mark regardless of class.

Even if you signed up before the rules changed? They put lockers in class B now. I now qualify for class A. But, I am not whining.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean but if you do qualify for a lower class now and payed for the higher class you can go lower and get a refund . . . or if you want to you can stay there, or you can ever sign up for the unlimited class C or D

I found out, that the ''tax'' thing might have something to do with a sales tax that is automaticly applied by pay-pal when a ticket is sold.(ie) there is a sales tax on Panthers tix, or a concert ticket.I still dont have all the facts on this.It is being looked at.

Paypal shoud not automatically add sales tax. Last year I did all of my business through Paypal and the tax was optional and was set up by me.

We are working that out with the state right now. I can assure you that if
they tell us we don't have to, we WILL refund the tax money and pull the
taxes from paypal. Better for us to be safe than sorry. We were originally
told to, so thats how we set it up. But we are currently looking into it
again. Thanks

You need to email Sean. He is the MAN. You can PM me if it is something you think I can help with, but in the end, it's Sean's call.

uh oh the big dog has found out about the race, Bigwoodys arch rival. Doug theres alot of trees on this course, better bring the neck brace if your coming. Are Gene & Bunny coming? He's got to wear the dress if he comes :flipoff2:

I'll say this....I got a good shot at it if BigWoody can stay off the rev limiter. Chance of that happening.....>not so good. That truck is fast. Thank goodness his tire blew. We'll see how the King of the Hammers race treats the moonbuggy and the first XRRA comp. I went down the store the other day and got a big rubber band for my wife. Told her if she didnt have the kid by middle of the week b/f the race that she was wearing the band around her ankles till I got back.:huggy:
