Uwharrie virgin :~>

Keep in mind there are a lot of big trips during April/May. There is the NCKrawlers the weekend of the 18th, the Isuzuwharrie trip (one I am attending) the weekend of the 22nd (22nd-wed through 26th-sun), and the Zuwharrie in early May. Even if you don't go with a planned group you can usually just post up here saying your going such and such weekend and you will find a few people to tag along with.

CNC4x4 also has there Spring fling April 25th weekend.. we usually have atleast 50 folks or more there

Its open at anytime from april 1st to december 15th!You can come by yourself or 40 people doesnt matter just make sure you buy your 5 dollar pass at eldorado outpost.

I haven't been in several yrs. I always met at the group camp and started from that point. My question is how many other areas may you unload trailered rigs, and is tag and insurance inforced on gravel State roads within the ORV area? I've trailed before but with a tagged and insured rig in tow.

There is parking at the Wolf Den trail head, Rocky Mount lower entrance, and at the Daniel trail head for unloading/parking/etc. Tag and insurance is enforced, I think there are at least 1 or 2 people on here that have gotten tickets. But I have never seen anyone pulled over before, so I guess its up to you if you want to take the risk.

even if i have a season pass?

Not quite sure what your asking, but I will over-clarify I guess to answer any possible questions.

Season passes ($30) cover one motor vehicle for one year from April 1st to December 15th. Or you can buy a daily pass that is just for one day/24 hours ($5). Some say the pass expires at midnight the day you bought it, some say it expires the next day at 6am when stores open up to where you can buy another. I am sure Corey knows (or someone else) for sure, or you can PM Janet (Arrowhead Campgrounds Host) at www.uwharrieinfo.us . Speaking of that site, it is the most up to date re-guarding all URE info.

And unlike Paragon was, you don't have to be riding in a group of so many vehicles. You can either ride Solo, or with as big of a group you can fit on the trails.
