Veterans commemorative ride idea

Veterans day comemorative ride (schedule)

This is going to be an outstanding event to comemorate all of our heros whao have served and are still serving in our armed forces. Veterans and everyone else is welcome to come out to ride, eat, and tell some good stories by the fire.

Time, nov 11th and 12th, camping both nights, all that will be required is your pass to ride, no pass needed to just camp,or to come out saturday.

Event location will be at art lilley camp ground and parking lot in Uwahrrie, this will cive easy acces to all in rigs or by car.

I will be there friday morn and set up camp in the woods at art lilley, We will ride friday most of the day. Friday night a group of us will go out to zenos for some good italian. Firday night im sure there will be plenty of stories by the fire.

Saturday morn at about 9 am we will split into groups or all go out together for some good trail riding.

Saturday everyone will meet back up at art lilley for a group picture for all of the veteran wheelers here on nc4x4.

Saturday at 300 pm dinner will be served by YOUR HOT DOG GUY,Which will be followed by a warm fire and time to remember those who are no longer with us.
 
All veterans and guest will eat for FREE, I will be giving out tickets for one free dog to all veterans and guest. Come and see me for a ticket that you can present to terry for one free dog starting about 230pm or so on sat.

Terry will also have drinks bbq and other goodies for youre enjoyment along with his mostly true stories.

YOU MUST COME SEE ME FOR HOD DOG TICKETS!

I will be at art lilley lot on friday from 3 till 6 in the afternoon, I will be at art lilley lot fom 6 till 9 on sat morn, I will be at art lilley lot from 2 pm on sat untill chow time.
 
This event isnt just about wheelin, this is an oppurtunity to meet other veterans who have been in youre shoes and have had the same experinces.

Come out and celebrate our nations heroes and most importantly the ones who are no longer with us.

I encourage you to bring your veteran family member to come out and celebrate!
 
This is a great idea! I'm honored to be a part of this. I jumped at this way to honor the men and women who have served our country. Let's do this for the vets, present and past!
 
I think it's really nice of the dad ride along! What better way to surprise him with a day that would honor him! I'm sorta sentimental when it comes to something like this.
 
I am a Vet bet my father, father inlaw and Three uncles served in Vietnam so theres no way I would miss this.
 
Hell Yeah love it!!!! Will have to look at our plans and see if we can make this. We have a motor home is somewhere close by to put that rocket ship? lol And I can cook up some good grub for sides...lol Will let you guys know for sure soon.

Thanks so much pinky, itll be great have ya, terry is going to be slinging dogs and bbq, but an extra side would be great! I am really looking forward to this.

I'll be there as well, I'll contact my brother as well and drag him out. He's an x-seal who was part of the Iran hostage rescue attempt and I was in desert storm. I think this is a great idea to get the military family together.
 
Jason, I can't make it that weekend. I have another commitment that I must attend. Hope you get a great turnout!
