Veterans commemorative ride idea

I had stated in an earlier thread that I would be unable to attend. I do have other obligations for Friday, but it now looks like I can make it on Saturday. :)
 
Me and My family are still planning to attend but will only be able to make it for the Saturday. Still looking forward to meeting the vets and hopefully getting a chance to shake each of the hands and say thank you.
 
Well can a Air Force guy come :lol:? Maybe I can make this if I dont have to work!

I have been asked by a nc4x4 member if they could make a donation towards the free hot dogs on saturday. That is an awesome gesture and I highly appreciate it.
There will be a jar at terrys stand on saturday for donations towards the free dogs.

There will also be free COFFEE!! and sweet goodies set out for yall to enjoy as well!

The best donation that anyone can give is just being there to show youre support, lend an ear, or just a handshake and a well deserved thankyou!

Litlle over 2 weeks away!!

Dont forget to come see me on friday or saturday for youre free hotdog tickets!
 
Can't wait! I think the stars will line up for us to b there all weekend, just hope they stay in line...lol

Carolina Broncos will be hosting their 6th annual Nov run. several of us are Vets and or are currently serving. I will stop by and say Hey, also will donate to the fund.

Jason, please explain how the free dog's are given.
 
Will do terry, Durin the day friday and saturday simply come and see myself or josh price (both are silver tjs on 33s with tube fenders), if you are attending the veterans day ride i will give you 1 ticket per person good for one free hot dog at terrys cart. The tickets are only redeamable on sat the 12th.

If you would like to donate towards the free dogs there will be a donation jar at terrys cart all day saturday. Every dime is greatly appreciated!!!

Dont forget, terry will also have his Awesome bbq at the cart as well as cold drinks and snacks!!
 
Jason...firewood for the campfire...I know this will be in like the National Forest, but do you have a supply for firewood or should we all try and bring some? I can bring "some", just not alot of room left to haul it with the KW Sleeper & Jeep on the trailer.

If you can haul some thatwould be great,I dont have any left here at the house. I think a few other folks are bringing a little.
Definetly going to need a decent fire both nights.
Even a little bit will help.

haha! Well yeah I have been waiting but its not your fault for sure they keep me busy!!lol!! If I can get my ARB fixed I will at least be there saturday! I would love to camp but work might keep that from happening so hopefully I can atleast wheel with some good guys!
 
Ill be there. I go on terminal leave Wednesday!!!!!

I have a ton of wood at my place im sure someone can swing by and grab some if needed.
 
Awesome!! Sounds like it's gonna be a great turnout. Ya!! Might need the heater. We will be bringing some firewood, not sure how !!much. Hopefully we can gather up some of the downed wood also. Really looking forward to this event.!!
 
this ride has really shaped up and i am super excited about it! Goofy, we will absolutely hit you up on the firewood. Everyone is going to zenos for supper, we can come buy and grab some on the way back too camp.

Scott, really glad youre gonna make it brotha, someones gotta keep Paul in line!!!
 
Jason,I'm gonna have to bow out on this run.I thought I could swing it with my schedule but it's not gonna happen.I've had to change my friday off from this friday to the next to help get stuff set up for our living history at Ft.Macon.Got roughly 100 guys coming down for this and gotta set up casemates for sleeping quarters and scaffolds to build for bayonette drills.Ya'll have fun and enjoy the fellowship.I'll catch up on the next one.
