I heard it took 7 sec. for food to reach the stomach.
I wonder if its the same for really oily foods?
 
bottle jacks, scissor jacks, 10 TON long frame service jacks, the cereal just doesn't taste like any of them. I was dissapointed. I wanted the taste of apples smeared on a jack. In stead I got a delicious fruity breakfast.



I wonder if being in a weightless environment would help to slow down getting wrinkles, and the general visual appearance of aging? Or, when you come back to earth, everything comes falling down, like deflating a balloon, or like seaweed when you take it out of water.

The thread was made cause on the lunar eclipse night, I was just wondering about the temp. on the moon!
But I love where this thread has gone from there.

Well, I do have a few legitimate questions, and ironically, this is probably the most appropriate ongoing thread in which to ask…


1: What happened to all of the excitement surrounding the upcoming Uwharrie 4x4Cross race? --- It’s as if the entire subject dropped off the face of the earth!

2: With less than 3 months to go, why are there only 44 registered racers? --- Those of us who have already signed-up really can’t help but wonder why so many others who showed interest are still waiting.

3: Is there any news as to when the ads are scheduled to hit the 4x4 Magazines?

4: If there is an active thread somewhere, where should I be looking?

1) wait till closer to the race, it will pick back up

2) most people want to make sure they have a running rig before they enter... so they are working on their junk

3)none to my knowledge

i wonder why i get tired and ready for bed, then check nc4x4 and stay up for another 2 hours....i also wonder if enlisting in the guard is going to be the right decision....and i also wonder if proposing to my gf will be a smart decision a year after

depends on the Guard.. Coast Guard, national guard, etc
 
I wonder how we can date a stone or bone based on another date placed on another object that was dated on another object that was all dated by some person that said so.

and we call that Proof.
 
I wonder ... with all the people in the world, and all the people who have died that have been put into vaults above and below ground, how long before there isn't anywhere to put the dead people.

I wonder WTF is wrong with my wife, for 10 years (as of today) she's still willing to not only be seen in public with me, but even still use my last name.
Maybe I need to try harder, I just can't seem to shake her...
