What have you done for your health today?

Worked on some snatch work yesterday after going through a Olympic lifting class. Moderate weight felt really light. 5k row for the workout. Finished in 21:02. Held a 2:13/500m pace for the first 2500m, then 2:08 for 2000 and then blacked out on the last 500m.

Today's workout is percentage work for strict press and then:

"Helen"
3 rounds:
400m run
21 kettlebell swings
12 pullups

I think my body fat level has dropped to the point that I am now just starting to lose strength. I saw 194.6 lbs yesterday morning. I'm not sure how much lower I am going to go. I am 15 lbs down from my late April peak and am definitely more shredded looking in the mirror.

Did some hiking while I took my little mountain break. Important to note, hiking/climbing waterfalls in Sperry’s with a toddler in your arms, is a god awful idea.

I dont guess I so much did it today, but just learned it today or whatever.

Cracked the 250lb glass floor this AM.
249.8....closing in on 70lbs gone.

Im still in the "morbidly obese" range on the chart..which is discouraging but Ill keep plugging away.

Rode again after work last night. Continuing eating clean and it's paying off. Cracked the 229 mark this AM. I started right at 250 on May 24th.
My barometer is my fitness level. Due to my height and bone structure, I doubt I will ever be at an ideal weight for my height (nearly 6'4"). Many charts call for me to be in the 195-200 range. At my lowest weight (half marathon training 3 years ago) I was right at 208 and looked like a "survivor".
I am consistenly PRing long steep climbs on my bike. When I reach the top of the trail,I am rarely out of breath anymore. Just last night I PRed an uphill 2.5 mile climb by nearly 6 minutes from earlier this year.

Super proud of you my friend!

Haven't posted in here before. I started dieting in April of last year. Kept telling myself I would start dieting one day, but never actually got around to it. Then one day at work I laid down on a creeper and could barely get back up afterwards. That's unacceptable for a 25 year old, so I got to work. 364 on the scale when I started, though I've seen it as high as 372. A year and a half later I'm down to 246 and still dropping. 126 pounds down. Smaller now than I was in highschool and feel better than I ever have.

Been running for about a month and a half now.... Finally at a point where I am ready to add something extra to the regimen, Sunday I did the "Insanity fit test" and today I managed to put the DVD back into the machine and knock out a 45 min. session. 2 days deep, 61 more to go.

Been watching a few "transformation videos" on youtube to keep up the motivation....change takes months not days, sometimes it is helpful to see the journeys of others who have stuck with it.

Keep with it guys and gals!

Yesterday's workout was 7 rounds of: 7 deadlifts at 245, 14 box jumps, 35 double unders. Rest 1:1. Finished in 20:07. Didn't poop my spine out either on 49 deadlifts at 245. Two months ago, I wouldn't have been able to move that weight, that many times without hurting myself. Woke up this morning to this. Jan 1st 2019 I was 235.3. 46.2 lbs of weight loss. Keep at it yall!

187 today with my pants on.

Different hot chick at gym today said “I didn’t know you had abs!”

#2019yearoftheabs
I'm about 10 lbs short of abs I think. Over the last few months I dropped from 206 to 186 this morning. Dropped from a 36 pant to a 33. I really need to get a gym routine going. Mostly just been doing push ups at home.

Down 1.1% of body fat in a month. I'll take that. Sitting right at 189.0 I think if I can get down to about 180ish I should have a decent six pack going on. Top two abs are starting to peek through in the mornings.

Yesterday's workout had some bar muscleups in a 20m amrap format. Was able to get through 13 of them plus a lot of other work. Last time I did bar MU, I only got 7 and these felt really great.

Heavy deadlifts today, 5x4 at 80% so 275ish. Followed by "Jackie", 1000m row, 45 thrusters, 30 pullups. Should be a fun day.

Ever heard of a Turkish Get up? I invented a new version of that today called the "Shit, that's not the right socket size either" get up.

Weight can be added or deducted by modulating the amp-hour rating on your battery gun.

Today I did ~ 200 reps at 5AH.
