I appreciate the info. I didn’t know moog had declined.Don't be surprised if the Moog stuff lasts about as long. They're not what they used to be. Not even close. My go-to for the last several years has been MevoTech Supreme or TTX if they're available for the application.
Installed backups cause mine suckith.
Gotta wire the positive to the trailer harness still then I'll be done. But first, I gotta pack all this junk up and get my kiddo from school....

Previous owner installed the fancy blacked out taillights.why darken a critical car safety light? for you and the other drivers
Nothing ever goes as planned. Old boot had a tear, new inner didn’t come with one. Called five parts stores with no luck. One said they had it, drove 20 minutes there for them not to have it. Amazon for the win. Should be here tomorrow, butttt it’s supposed to rain. A 10 minute job is now two days all from the simplest part of the job. It’s all good though. I’m gonna fish the rest of the day instead.Driver side inner tie rod is on the agenda for tomorrow. I skimped out and bought cheap ones when I rebuilt my front end. Didn’t get a year and a half out of it. Putting moog back in its place. I knew better.
Guy math be mathin hard on this one. I approveTore my Toyota rear end apart to shave the housing/fix a leak; and found chipped and cracked ring gear teeth.

No joke, on trucks like ours, there was a bulletin for the intermediate steering shaft which caused like a clunking noise in the floor that you could feel and the repair was a grease kit and it said in the bulletin to "stroke the shaft". There's no way the engineers that wrote that weren't laughing about it...Did you lube it up good before shoving it in?
