What have you done to your rig today?

Got my butt slightly kicked by this c-clip 8.25 locker. Took a bit to figure out the assembly order.

Yeah, they got one package that comes with the Holly sniper and HEI dizzy. Should be a massive change when comparing dyno charts, the stock engine the HP and TQ don't even meet until over 5k which is well past value float.
New everything better than oem 4 bolt mains and aluminum heads, hard to beat the value from blueprint especially the package deals

Cage bolted down with new non torx headed hardware. Need to bolt down the stanchions in the front but needs to tie in to something more substantial than the floor pans. May try to cobble up a plate that comes of my Warn sliders. The other jeep had rectangle tube to the frame and one bolt through it but you can see if from the side and it looks like an outrigger for a slide in camper to me 🤮.

Got the other jeep loosely assembled, radiator hooked up, transmissioin lines reconnected and tossed a battery in to see what would happen. Surprised me when it started....I bought it thinking it was non runner. Showing 4 codes for O2 sensor and threw one for cps (i think)....hit a 2k rev limit. Its an '05 and from what ive been reading prone to have bad pcm and opda. Ran good enough to hoon it down the road though..

Not that it is "safe" but my front down bars a welded to the boat sides which are bolted to the body mounts and body.

4wd rooster tails hell yeah brother
I should have added. On 77 northbound doing about 70. T-case is obviously gone, front driveshaft is gone, and bent the front sway bar links.

Go the t-case in, on the look out for a driveshaft now, have the sway bar links on order.

What kind of truck? I might can locate you one

Lots of little projects,

Cel with incandescent bulb (led doesnt work with ecu, topped off fluids, hood latches, exhaust hangers welded after checking for clearance at full droop, shifter slop weld fix, bent t case lever to clear shifter.

Just shifting from the seat engine off I noticed a huge difference in how well this trans shifts, makes me wonder if there was a bent fork on the other trans, I just drained the oil with a sacrificial quart to flush and refilled with synchromesh, plan to just run it till it dies

Got the fo-tay-fo rear swap started yesterday. Just had to get brake line and ebrake today and slide it out. Ill move the blue top garage over tomorrow evening and hopefully loosen a few bolts on the turdy five.

I remember my old 35.

May she forever rest in the junkyard.

In pieces.

If you need a hand, holla.
