I'll probably be loading 30.06 rounds for the M1917 and walking the parapet searching for roaving bands of looters to send said rounds to. After the rain quits and while the flooding rolls,I'll be out in the county capping washed out watermains.

There is probably a 60% chance that I will end up moving our breakfast table to the garage on Saturday and start refinishing it. Or, I may repaint my son's old bedroom that we are remaking into an office.

Beering. I'd probably be cigaretting too, but I didn't buy any and I try to keep it on the DL from the gf usually.

After everything gets done, I'll be out and about clearing roads if need be and helping out whoever is left in Croatan.

Obviously, I'll be sober when I'm out and about!

Either at work doing last minute prep or at home hunkered down with the wife and kid. Afterwards will be getting all my freezers back online and possibly moving out our office, depending on rainfall totals. Sprinkle in the random tree in roadway call with the fire dept. My wife will be peeved that I'm not at home but I'll get her set up on the generator and let them ride. Who has time to mope around the house complaining about no power? I have too much shit to do.

Be setting on deck at camp ground watching the lake rise. Once it gets to second step, head towards house and be on standby for those needing help.

I have 3 more of these to wrap up before Dixie.

Apparently our Scout trip to go whitewater rafting at Harpers Ferry is still on for Sat... so I'll still be getting pretty wet! ...and hanging on tight

I'll be at work since my boss says fayetteville is only getting an inch of rain and virtually no wind. He was bitching this afternoon when he found out most of the parts stores are closed the next two days that that was "a huge mistake since the only damage will be in Wilmington since its going to stop there then dissipate and the remnants will drift into SC. "

If I'm not cutting trees off my house, shed, yard, driveway, neighbors etc. I'll be hiding from the mrs........... she hates bad weather and the meanopause is kicking my ass right now and the storm is still hundreds of miles away?o_O

D60 front and a pair of Super Duty one tons left to do. Plus they're powder coated. Oh joy!

This one may have taken a little longer than 30. I kept creeping up on pinion depth to nail down a good pattern.
Whats the issue w powder coating??? Having to tap/clean out threads or just having to be more careful in general??

I'll be hanging out at the vfd waiting for our turn to get slammed. And probably be doing homework

Good time to pressure wash my house and shop. I’ll already be wet from pressure washing so the rain won’t matter.

Somebody makes this house wash stuff that's mostly outdoor bleach, but has some other stuff in it too....just go spray the house down with it and let the rain rinse it off. I was going to pressure wash my house, but that stuff cleaned 3 years of grossness right off. Only had to hit a few spots with a long handled brush!

Use pool chlorine. 12+% concentration vs. the 8% of clorox.

I used house hold bleach at 50/50, wet, sprayed, wiped with car brush on pole, rinsed. Vinyl siding, standard mildew and mold. Hasn't returned in 6 months. Used maybe 3 gallons on a 75 ft trailer..

I’ll be attending a hurricane party Saturday. Probably doing some wall patching and interior painting. Kids will probably want a Monopoly rematch. Hopefully it will be a pretty chill weekend.
