Up to about 1.75" in mt pleasant since yesterday.
The suburban needed a new ecm and it runs like a champ, probably gonna sell it and make some quick $$$
Got the Duramax passenger side head ready to be torqued down, just need a torque wrench
Fed the dogs, fed myself, about to chill on the front porch and enjoy the evening.

Swapping this junk motor out for a hopefully less junk motor. Supposed to be good. We'll see. Hope the piston pins don't seize like the last motor that sat. Maybe marvel mystery oil would help for the first oil change and maybe keep my foot out of it for a bit.

Edit: it looks like I levitated the motor out with my mind.

I thought I would get more done at work yesterday but the wind got up and I felt guilty leaving the wife and kid at home so I left. Today has been boredom central. This house is a rental with no space to tinker, my shop is at work. On top of boredom add the fact that our son (21mos) has had hand foot and mouth since weds, Hurricane Clifton has been far worse than Florence. I am dying to get out of this house.
