I am now sitting in the dark, eating a sandwich, listening to the wind/rain whip around, and drinking some bourbon my BIL brought me from his last Louisville trip.

Now I've found that I really enjoy woodworking and even the wife likes it as well. Got to build a router sled to get the table nice and flat and then anchor it as well as copious amounts of sanding and touchup work. It's a heavy SOB
 
Almost forgot I have tickets to the Clemson game Saturday. Bought them before Florence decided to visit. They moved it ftom 7pm to noon. I wish they’d have just cancelled it. I hate to waste $200 plus dollars on tickets and not go, but with all that’s going on and people potentially needing help I really don’t feel like going. I’m thinking travel isn’t going to be easy either. First world problems I guess. Hope everyone is staying safe.
 
Me and the good help did a little bit of cleanup around the construction site today. Not exactly inside work, but storm prep nonetheless.

3am ride behind an ambulance...sister back in neuro icu. Pressure changes apparently screwing with her temporary shunt and preventing it from draining properly.
 
I slipped on wet leaves on the deck barefoot and my feet went high as my head. I landed on my back/left side, at the edge of the deck where it drops down.I feel like I cracked a rib or 2. I Won't be doing any clean up soon.

Got up early and made a killer breakfast, then the family watched a movie waiting on it to get bad. We are just north of Charlotte in Mt. Pleasant. By lunchtime it hadn't "happened" yet. So we got the 4 wheelers out and did some riding. We don't do well trapped in a house. Old picture but you get the idea.

Thanks, I'm not in a hurry to clean up the storms mess and we're doing better than a lot of others. Our power flickered probly 25 times and went of for 5 secs. this morning, but it's on now and it seems the winds have slowed down.Still ain't used the gen. but still glad we got one.
