Winter coming?

Saw a 6x6 on the sandy ridge rd bridge over 40 on the way home. @Tacoma747 was that you? It was around 3:30

@josh$$ @Wildwilly87 , my stepson, debra and I made it all the way through old 105 today. Damn it was insane! Easy 2 ft up top with 4 ft drifts in the road!

We wheeled HARD to make it all the way, we drug a hummer h3 that had spent the night out up nearly every hill. I gave my kenitic rope a workout. We found a family stuck in a Subaru over night as well, gave them a ride to marion to meet family.

Most insane snow wheelin I have ever done, drifts up to the headlights! We seen no one else wheelin the whole way, fresh powder.

No. This and the RZR were my only rides today. Really think if I would have kept at it I could have made it all the way over this snow pile.

(Or got really stuck on top)

@Jason W. What time did you go through? I noticed only a couple tracks had been made when I came through, it must have been your crew.

We got hit fairly hard. Helped a budy dig his tacoma out. The jeep did really well only spun a few times. This is the most snow I've ever seen. The stairs by my apartment looked like a ramp.

I’d have found a snowboard and at least attempted a drunken board slide on that rail...

I’d give organs/testies for that truck... if you ever need a kidney I quit drinking “heavily” a long time ago! Just saying I’d trade straight up lol
Thanks but She not that nice but I got to much money in her to part with

This version is much better than the p.c. tail I read earlier....but exactly what I gathered from it.:D
Wasn't sure if a friend of a friend knew her. She thinks she broke her hand. Her "daddy" arrived in a new GMC Denali truck. Clearly affluent. Thanked me, and first words to HER were "my truck wont be pulling that shit out"
Not "are you ok"
Life lesson for my daughter: "your dads not a dick"

Turns out I’m the redneck hick in my neighborhood, apparently (they’ll lose their shit when I start bringing rigs/trailers home out of storage). Yesterday, I was out doing doughnuts at the church parking lot across from my neighborhood in my wife’s edge. I see my neighbor come off the main road, semi plowed and immediately get stuck going in to the neighborhood. He walks over after about 10 mins and says ‘uhhh...you’re in to cars and stuff, right? AAA says they won’t come help, anything you can do’? I run home, put the pintle in and grab a strap. Get him out pretty quick. Apparently word got out, and I’ve gotten a half dozen calls to do the same since then.

Rolled up on this dude at the end of the black top. He was loaded with sand and sitting on the diffs. No way I was budging this truck. He sat there a couple hours, until someone in a minivan picked him up. I didnt see the extraction, but the truck is gone now. With a giant muddy mess left behind.

Reckon what gave em that ideal??

You'll be fine, we're not supposed to get snow (I don't think) until the small hours on Sunday.

But, it will be cold and rainy probably.

I went, I ran, I conquered.

Finished in 2 hours and 29 minutes, not my best time... but dammit - I'm 6'3" and 230lbs. That's a LOT of mass to be moving over 13 miles.

And Huntersville is a really nice town.

Everyone I met was very pleasant as well. But that place reeks of money though, and I imagine living there is stupid expensive. I also went to Big Daddy's and got the American Badass burger. Which was pretty tasty, their breaded/deep fried bacon was amazing.

The entire trip was a 10/10.

Huntersville is getting more expensive by the year, but that's because it's become a bedroom community for Charlotte and has been rapidly growing for a while. It's getting to be all tract homes and mcmansions, and of course the crazy money is on the lakefront. It's definitely getting to be a pretty affluent place overall, and my real estate friends say that affordable housing rarely exists here anymore. We also host the worst section of I-77 toll lane construction traffic.
