Primary roads ok
Secondary roads half blocked with down trees, got to stay in the throttle and fight the wheel to stay moving.

Generator running along happily.. and ten gallons of fuel on standby. Now where's the other stuff I need to finish hooking it up..

8” in Trinity.

There was a 18 wheeler stock sideways on 311 and blocking all 4 lanes, I hooked the XJ to him, and a guy hooked a 1/2 ton GMC to me and together we pulled him out and got him back rolling. It was pretty cool.

Glad I could do my part to keep all the Amazon packages rolling!

15.5" at the house.
My XJ is stuck at the bottom of the road. Gotta wait on a plow truck to come through!
Hopefully out of said plows reach.....some of them don't give a flying flip.

Still snowing. Broke out the orange tractor and started clearing the driveway, my street, and down to the main road. This shit is HEAVY
@rodney eppes you are right!! Despite 4x4 and a rear locker I need chains!! Can't push snow to amount to anything unless its downhill. But, managed to clear about 1/4 mile to the main road.

5.5 hours to go from Lenoir to Timberlake this morning with a stop at a friends place in Burlington. Lots of cars stuck. A few 18wheelers stuck on off ramps and even a plow truck missing a plow on 40 in Greensboro.

All the power companies look to be staged and ready for the ice we may get.

All 4 tires were smoking, engine running warm and the 4.0 spinning around 4500.
No further progress made.
The hike uphill with bug out bag, 24" Stihl, groceries, show shovel and 2 dogs sucked!

Should have had a sled then jasper could be the sled dog he wants to be

Started up 105 about 12:30. I went maybe a mile and stopped to wait on the other 2 Jeep's. That's as far as I got to go though because they couldn't get 100 yards past the yellow sign! Still had a great time running the back roads. There was at least 2', maybe more. The new kicks got up on top of the snow and did awesome, then would dig down and find dirt when the going got tough.

There is at least 2' of snow here but it packs down if your not spinning.
