WTF halp!!!!! Huge Dealership Problem...

I am disappointed with the outcome. You made it way too easy for them, especially if he actually told you to blow him.
 
well, i have had family in the car bus. for years so here is my take on it.
my step mom currently works for a company that finances dealerships, what has happened(more than likely) is that the company thats lending to them has the title and will not release it b/c of their standings with that and other vehicles.
she was explaining to me a while back that a lot of their dealerships were in trouble and going under but had already sold units they owed on and the customer would never receive the titles because the units were sold out of trust

also if a title wasnt avail for that unit this info had to be disclosed at time of the dealerships purchase and yours

I didn't say how much the check was for :lol: . I'm gonna do the blend doors myself but not worried about it since the air works fine just the heat on one side is shot.

You should have got the title when you paid for the vehicle and taken it to the license plate agency yourself, this way you know you have the title, no chance of getting screwed
 
Yea I kind of looked at it this way. I got most of the first jeep paid for by an insurance check off the yj. I put about 5k into the 01, and then all this happened so as of right now I really got this jeep for free between the insurance and the check I got. I could have bitched more but if I put alil money into this Ive got close to a 10k jeep for free. Luck comes in 2 streaks and hopefully usually balance each other out. If you don't realize when you get lucky life just seems like it sucks all the time haha

Beware AMG autosales raleigh (everywhere)

AMG you know who this is. where is my tags and title. 61 days and nothing. they even lied to me and told me everything was in the mail but the dmv said its not and paperwork has not even been turned in.scammers.havetaken otheractions. will keep everybody updated. dont buy from these guys. you will be sorry

Looks like nothing has changed with these guys. I'm sure this will get flagged and taken down pretty quickly which is why I copy/pasted from the ad. I e-mailed the guy a link this thread since there was some pretty good advice in here.
 
I just spotted the ad on Craigslist and sent him the link to this thread. I think there is a lot of good info for him to use. He'll probably see your e-mail address himself, but if he does contact me I'll be sure to send it to him.
 
I sent AMG a nice lil email stating that the buyer has been made aware of their past actions and if need be I can get involved with filing more complaints against the dealership if need be. Maybe it'll help the poor guy out. These guys have got to learn a lesson
