This thing is gonna be nuts! Is that a rogue fab bender? I just bought one but haven't put it together yet.

Holy shit...

Subscribed cant wait to see this done.

Yes it is. Its a nice peice for a good price. It bends well. Make sure you weld the half moon piece on the correct side its for the dial. I screwed that up when I built it. David's problem now I guess!

Was curious as well. Me and a few friends have split the cost and ordering the master kit with the notcher next week. Read nothing but good reviews about that bender. Can't wait to get it.

I took a 1/2 inch out of both sides and welded it back into a sharp'ish oval shape tube. Hard to see it on pics. Probably try to catch it with a video.

Reasoning for this? Couldn't just use smaller toob...?

Cause.... Dynamite Design

The tubes that I plan on making like that should compliment the overall appearance and attitude.
Plus it makes that long bologna notch a lot easier where the tubes meet. I've had to do it before. Looks great man. Definitely getting your weave on with this one.

Pimpin' notch work! What (and how) are you using to make notches on a bent tube like that? Just curious. Those cage/floor plates look great. Seems like a lot of work for that but I like how the half tube will be notched and welded to the cage.

I'd have to say a flap disc or die grinder is the only way to make a notch like that, I don't even think a cnc laser could do it being that it's already bent.
You've got far more patience than I do, I've changed a cage design just to avoid hand notching something simple. Have fun making the other side match. :flipoff2:
