One way or another the sami will be on the trials, even if I have to pull it with the dully. Nah it will be ready just not done.... Then again it will never be done if she has it her way...lol

After having my MAF fall off twice yesterday at The Flats due to $8 worth of plumbing couplers and hose clamps holding it on...I decided to make a more better intake tube.
Edit: I really need to clean up some wiring!

Changed diff and trans fluid, changing oil when I put in new rod bearings and HV oil pump tomorrow. Then stuffing the new radiator in to keep her cool for RBD.

well this is a late update but here goes. I needed some help putting my inner C's on my axle so @Loganwayne said to bring it over and we'd figure it out. I'd never done it before but after an all afternoon effort I'm happy to say we got them on. No they don't match when it comes to camber but for first timers I say we did alright. Plus, she's a trailer queen so there won't be much street time anyway.

Also, big thanks to Scott at Metalwerx (@ol'Jeeps ) for talking me down off a ledge after I thought we screwed the pooch.

And here I was thinking it just needed the kingpins rebuilt :)

Measured my winch mounting situation.

Still haven't decided.

Finally had a couple hours to work on the buggy again.

Pulled front axle assembly for rebuild and zip locker install. Got halfway through that and got distracted and started wiring up the motor. Got distracted from that and began plumbing the fuel line. Got distracted and began replacing the lower link joints up front. Realized the joints were nearly seized in the links, I gave up and went to bed realizing I started like 5 things and didn't finish a single item.

:(

Leveled my tow rig today. One of my warehouses started carrying Bilstein kits that include new front coils, isolators and 4 specifically valved shocks.
It's getting new wheels and tires Monday just in time to blind people in front of me at red lights until I aim the headlights.

After 5 yrs I finally put new plugs, cap and rotor on. Gutted more wires and cut out a few wads of electrical tape for properish rewired connections. Even broke a few things I thought were important and after it ran and charged properly I am happy to say I reduced some weight :D

Figured out what radiator hoses I needed and installed. Used the tig wire trick to find one at Orileys that was close enough.
Built an oil primer for my LS1 using a SBC oil pump, pickup, and a few random parts I had laying around. Sure beats the hell out of a $200 system

Good idea. Fortunately I still have 3 qts of oil in my accumulator charged to 15 psi, should prime the ol girl nicely when is time to fire.
