I managed to change out the fuel pressure regulator on my 02 LB7 Duramax today. It idles nice and smooth now! My ribs and stomach feel like Chuck Norris round house kicked them though. I should invest in one of the "truck creepers" that you lay on over top of the motor...it'd probably keep the sore ribs to a minimum.
Started on my 2" BB lift last night on the Green Gremlin. Got 3 wheels done but the bump stop is messed up somehow on the drivers side front. So having to do some custom work to the puck and the bump stop. Should finish up tonight.
practiced some welds for the first time. what do ya think? using a cheap chinese flux. only get to select wire speed and min/max power. prepping for motor mount welds
The Willys has been sitting for a long, long time so we put it to use for a photo shoot for my nephew's 1st birthday
@Mulishajoe removed the driver's seat & cut a new floor for the passenger side of the sami & got it welded in. I pretty much watched & snoozed with the shop cat
Dropped the buggy off at a good friends house in Knoxville on the way home from Harlan for some TLC. I'll pick it up in a month and head straight to rattle rock, I just hope it's not pink or has flowers and rainbows painted on it next time I see it.
Losing high range in my 231 and getting to rebuild it with a case from a thrown driveshaft was the highlight of my day. Fun drive home at 30mph in low for thirty miles. Case was bone dry, well except for the ATF that turned into grinding compound. It's done and back moving now.

Went through the Mall Crawler to mark all of the tweaks that need attention. Dropped it off with my friends at Carolina Auto Concepts (SL Customs) so they can fix what I already "fixed" .
