Anyone heard of this??? Had a lady reach out to me and a couple buddies to see if we were interested, and then asked to advertise in a couple of my groups.

Complete lack of info...

"Do you have a truck? Do you want to compete?".....

Compete how? Compete to do what? What kind do of truck? A work truck? A Baja truck? A KOH truck? A brodozer?

To see who can get the cab off faster. Those head gaskets aren't going to change themselves, ya know....

I had a lady reach out to me as well. I said I would be interested so I did the Skype interview with a casting agent. Sounds like they are looking for street able trucks/jeeps to compete in an "ultimate adventure" style event. 4 rigs per episode, big cash prize to win it all. They are looking for road legal rigs with 35-37's, stockish suspension ie not linked or custom. That's about all the info they gave me.

Meh,just another "car guy" show that they'll dumb up w some unnecessary shenanigans or underlying, fabricated drama. We have enuf of those already.

If they require a 4 point cage and 4 point harnesses for driver and passenger. It's definitely not your backyard mud pit. I was contacted about it also. My truck doesn't have a cage lol

They contacted me to be an "expert" on every episode to give a run down of each vehicle before the races. At first I was interested, then they explained what the show was about. It seems to me that as with any tv and Offroad related show it will end up being full of the guys with the "personality" not the knowledge or skill. Pretty much the worst possible people to actually use to represent us as a general group.
My other concern is that if I were chosen to be an expert on the show and they script what I'm allowed to say there's a high chance that I'll be made to look like an idiot. I'd be a sell out. Loose any credibility I may have in the Offroad world.
I did the interview after they pretty much gave me no out the second time around. Immediately Scott the casting guy told me I wasn't lively enough. I needed to be hiped up. I don't hipe up. You want an expert, I'll offer what I can offer and tell it straight.

So you're saying CRR has a shot at representing the 4x4 community in addition to turning everyone away from Lowes

My only rep is a hack so I'll take your role Mars! LOL!

I typically stay away from the hyped up,borderline meth head personalities.

Still haven't heard anything after my Skype call.... Think it has died

Liz from California called me back today. The show is back on and filming will start in August in the Greater Atlanta area. I'm supposed to known more information next week.

I probed as much as she would let me and she told me the format of the show is most like Busted Skull Challenge on CMT. I've never seen that show and the only park I can think of around Atlanta is Durhamtown. Are there any others?

That's the show with Stone Cold Steve Austin. That's a physical competition, with head to head style rounds.
