Well stage 2 complete, the teardown lol. Not everyday my garage had that many 8lug axles lol. Got my tubing today too.

Yeah yeah my jack stands are ghetto..haha, something I put together quickly but works for me
 
You support with additional stands before crawling under that right?

I think the term “safety” is well defined in this thread and others.

Heck yeah, ain't getting nowhere under till I make at least 2 more with all the framework and such I gotta do

Make the bases larger if you're going to have them that high, because you're using them as jackstands and not underhoist supports (underhoist supports don't really see much tipping moment, just compression loads). I don't want to start the cage argument again in a different context, but you can make some much simpler jack stand bases that are much stronger than those, with 3 or 4 legs and some plate or strapping to tie them together and prevent spreading (both outward and sideways, which yours are lacking).

I look at the tall height of those, and the size of the base, and how the base/legs are supported, and how heavy the Jeep is, and I'm not getting within 10 feet of that Jeep if it's sitting on only that type of stand. A stand of that height is meant to support, and isn't meant to prevent tipping because it's really bad at that. Preventing tipping is the job of something else.

I just want you to be safe. Please, just be safe.

I just had to do this quick to get the axles off for the buyer tomorrow. To work under it, I was gonna make 2more plus I always hook my 8ton engine hoist to it as an extra when doing this type of major work
 
Dam yo what the hell that freaking sucks.
Yeah lifts scare the hell outta me why I never bought one for my shop in Boone when building the slab.
Yes I can be little careless but this is how I get under my rig for major work.
1. 4-6 jack stands 4corners minimum.
2. Engine hoist hooked up on whatever end I work under as extra security.
3. Other ends throughout vehicle I put the big tires under as a last freak accident the other 2 give out..that makes me feel safe and confident enough.

So can't help to notice the rear body leaf spring mount is perfect location for lower link mount...any reason why that can't work?
Or cut out that whole section plate it all and make whole new box?

Hell no, carry on! This thing should be linked and a roller by Friday.

If you're really going to link it front and rear, you are going to have to plate the frame front to rear. Again.

OMG, I just spent $368 on Barnes 4wd links for front and rear plus both track bars bushings. Holy crap what's this world coming to ..I actually spent money on legit quality parts. Woohoo I'm exited
