If it still steers your good.....when she no turny right or left I wouldn't stab the brakes to hard.
I've floated the hind end on one many times.

Same, this lift is a 15.5k with extra counter balance. That saw should only be about 6-7k.

They were telling us that a few weeks ago they were moving a press with it, lifted the press, drove the trailer out and when it got 6" off the ground the back tires lifted. Definitely would've puckered on that one.

When I put in my big gas tank in the seller under sold the weight, by alot, like 15k alot. Crane was booked for with plenty safety factor over what seller told me and crane rep. Long story short they pulled every trick in the book to get that tank off the trailer and on my piers. Had guys squatted beside both rear out riggers. Before they started the pick I ask one of them what they were looking for. The old timer grinned and said "daylight". I ask what that meant and he said when you start to see a gap between the two sections of outrigger you know the load is too heavy

Doing a yearly cert on a 125 foot ladder truck will pucker your arse too! The torque box and chassis is designed to handle the full stick at a 45 degree from center at parrallel to the ground. You put the rated load in the platform and send it......the opposite front outrigger will lift every bit of a foot or more. We did training directly with the company who built American La France ladders up north before the last and final bankruptcy.

On a side note, what happens to all the old hose? Can it be purchased? I think I could find some use for it.

All of that hose is still good. We are putting together some exposure packs with it. Will be 200' bundles in a Cleveland lay for when we need to do exposure protection on a big fire. Just trying to find space on our trucks.

My truck is down while I wait on the latest care package from Rockauto.....stole the Mrs' XJ and a Uhaul to grab a nice piece of american made iron. It is deceptively top heavy.....damn thing weighs as much as an 80 gallon air compressor!
